Preschool and Kindergarten

Uniforms are not required for students in Preschool and Kindergarten. These children are encouraged to wear clothes that are seasonal and appropriate for involvement in their hands-on curriculum.

GIRLS
Navy, tan dress slacks – (no big outside pockets)
     Must be worn on the waist
Navy, tan walking shorts – (long style with cuff)
White, navy, light blue, dark blue or red golf style shirt
or turtle neck shirts (no frilly collars)
Shoes – (preferably gym shoes which are safe)
Socks – Tan, white, red or blue
St. Sylvester Sweatshirt
1 earring in each ear (no big hoops that could be hazardous)
Light makeup if desired
St. Sylvester plaid or navy jumper skirts or various uniform skirts, jumpers purchased from stores
No heavy chains (on wrists, necks or waists)

BOYS

We ask your cooperation with our very broad dress code here at St. Sylvester School.  If in doubt, please call the school before purchasing any items to be worn to school.  NOTE:  If you have already purchased girls walking shorts without cuffs, simply fold up the hem and stitch on each side.
